The Pilot is not a sales call. It is the first paid engagement, designed to produce a defensible artifact and an honest answer about whether to keep going with Cohorte.

The 12-page artifact your sponsor reads. Owners, decision rules, escalation paths, audit trail design.

Recommendation
Honest. Proceed, do not proceed, or proceed but not with Cohorte. We will say which.
If the Pilot produces a deck, we have done the engagement wrong.
Three commitments
€8K, two people. €12K, three. That's it.
No expansion fees, implementation surcharges, or "scope clarification" invoices. The price on the cover is the price on the invoice.

If he is unavailable for the next four weeks, we say so on the discovery call and schedule accordingly. We do not substitute.
If the brief is not usable, you keep half your money.
And every artifact we wrote, licensed indefinitely for internal use. No penalty to walking away.
After the Pilot — credit, not commitment
If the recommendation says proceed and you sign a follow-on within 90 days, the full Pilot fee credits against it. The Pilot is a credit, not a sales call.

If the memo says "do not proceed," there is no credit, because there is nothing to credit against. That is also a valid outcome.

- 60-minute discovery. No deck. If we are not the right firm, we say so.
- One-page Pilot agreement. €8K or €12K. Scope, dates, artifacts. Sign or send redlines.
- NDA exchanged. 48-hour turnaround.
- Kickoff. Within seven days of signature.
- Recommendation memo. Week four. You decide what comes next.
